Summary

The Welder is responsible for joining materials using proper welding techniques to meet customer requirements and quality standards. This position requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine the correct welding process for each product.

  • Select appropriate welding equipment and determine the proper welding sequence.

  • Weld components to meet customer specifications and verify weld integrity using non-destructive testing methods.

  • Accurately record completed quantities and production data in the ERP system.

  • Measure final products to ensure conformance with customer blueprints.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

  • Perform daily and weekly preventive maintenance as assigned.

  • Promote safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous quality improvement in accordance with company policies.

  • Exhibit leadership through integrity, initiative, and teamwork; foster a respectful and positive workplace culture.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 3–5 years of welding experience or completion of a 4-year accredited welding program.

  • Strong blueprint reading skills and knowledge of weld symbols.

Preferred:

  • Welding certification from an accredited institution.


Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, product and component specifications, data sheets, and procedure manuals.


Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $19– $30 per hour, based on experience
