Ludlow Manufacturing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to support quality assurance activities, customer satisfaction, process improvement, and new product launches. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing inspection plans, performing critical characteristic reviews, managing PPAP submissions, leading corrective actions, and ensuring products meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.
This position serves as a key liaison between customers, suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing to drive quality performance, reduce defects, and ensure successful product realization from launch through production.

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related technical field.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality engineering role preferred.
  • Experience supporting fabricated metal, welding, machining, assembly, or automotive manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with customer-facing quality activities and supplier quality management.
